One Dead, Three Critically Injured In North County Crash

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — An adult male died and three other people sustained life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, near Chambers Road and Jacobi Avenue, St. Louis County Police said. Detectives are investigating the crash, including why it occurred.

St. Louis County Police Department North County Precinct officers responded at 2:25 a.m. Sept. 13, 2026, to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection. Officers found two vehicles involved.

Police said the driver of Vehicle No. 1, an adult male, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two occupants of Vehicle No. 2 sustained life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction detectives are investigating. Police said the investigation is active and preliminary details may change.
