Justina Marie Wilbur, 48, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
She was born on September 11, 1978, in Centralia, IL where she was raised and graduated from Centralia High School. She was accredited as a Surgical Technologist from Parkland College in Champaign, IL where she first worked at Carle Hospital. Later she worked at several different hospitals and surgery centers in the St. Louis area. She married her husband David on September 20, 1997.
Justina was a wonderful, considerate and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed nature and being outdoors, working in her flower and vegetable gardens, hiking in the mountains, caring for her animals and riding bikes and taking trips with her family. She also enjoyed embroidery, quilting, cross-stitch and other crafting and home improvement projects. Most of all she loved her family and cherished every moment they spent together.
Justina was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Rodger Wilbur.
She is survived by her husband, David Wilbur; her children, Jack, Owen, Wyatt and Raeanne Wilbur; her parents, Gary C. and Deborah A, (nee Pugh) Huge of Collinsville, IL; her in-laws, Linda (Loren) Verble of Centralia, IL; her siblings, Curtis (Brittani) Huge of Glen Carbon, IL, Traci (Jeff) Vance of Smyrna, TN and Monica Huge of Glen Carbon, IL; her brother-in-law, Chuck (Karen Chontafalsky) Wilbur of St. Louis, MO; her niece, Briar Huge who affectionately loved her aunt Tee-Tee; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation for Justina will be held from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. David Roderick officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm to 4 pm at St. Jacob Activity Center, 108 North Douglas Street, St. Jacob, IL.
