IDOT has initiated a Planning and Environmental Linkages Study of Illinois 15/Bond Avenue in the city of East St. Louis. This study will evaluate existing conditions in the corridor – such as traffic, safety, environmental considerations and land use – to understand the needs of the corridor, determine its current challenges and define a clear purpose and need statement to guide future improvements.

The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the study and gather community input on current needs and desired improvements to the Illinois 15 and Bond Avenue corridors.

A PowerPoint presentation will be available for public review and input, along with information on engineering, land acquisition and environmental processes. The meeting will be held in a virtual meeting format during the times shown. The public is invited to submit comments for consideration via an electronic comment form that will be provided during the meeting and on the project website. Meeting materials will be available on the project website for review and comment.

Comments also may be mailed to 1102 Eastport Plaza Drive, Collinsville, IL, 62234, submitted to david.r.holloway@illinois.gov or communicated by phone to David Holloway at 618-345-8918. All comments received by Nov. 9 will be included in the official public meeting record.

The meeting sites are accessible to people with disabilities. To request special accommodations, please contact IDOT at 618-346-3161, 888-642-3449 (TTY/TDD) or 711 at least seven days before the meeting.
