A true patriot at heart, Elmer took great pride in being an American and never missed an opportunity to display his love for his country and honor those who served.

He had a gift for conversation, a story for nearly every occasion, and a genuine interest in everyone he encountered. He enjoyed spending peaceful days fishing, attending craft shows and flea markets with Nina, and sharing laughter and good times with those around him. Above all, Elmer treasured his family and friends and the many special memories they created together.
