Martha (Doran) Leavell, 84, of Maryville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1942, in Alton, Illinois, to Carl and Mildred Doran.
Martha will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her three children, Charles A. Leavell of Troy, Illinois; Cindy (Dan) Moad of Maryville, Illinois; and Craig Leavell of Glencoe, Illinois. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Brant, Trent, and Carsyn Moad, and Brady, Noah, and Finn Leavell; and her brother, Tom (Diane) Doran.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Martha treasured her family above all else. Her life was filled with love and meaningful connections, and she will be remembered for the special moments, lasting memories, and enduring love she shared with those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Siteman Cancer Center in Martha’s memory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 200 N. Lange Avenue, Maryville, Illinois. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois.
