Robert Alan Stratton, 82, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Sun. Nov. 12, 2023 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL.
He was born Oct. 15, 1941 in Long Beach, CA to the late Edwin C. & Mildred (Waechter) Stratton.
Robert had worked for Modern Materials as a sales associate. He loved to golf and also was a golf instructor.
Survivors include a daughter: Kimberly (Rick) Cato of Granite City; 3 step-daughters: Debbie Campbell of Prescott, AZ, Rhonda Campbell of Granite City and Pam Coleman of Fountain Valley, CA; a step-son: Jeff Coleman of Knoxville, TX; 3 grandchildren: Arica Cain, Phillip Cain and Alex Smith; 5 great-grandchildren: Haylee, Haydn, Logan, Jesse and Kayleigh Cain; 2 sisters: Shirley Schultz of CA and Sue Schultz of CO; his former spouse: Sharon Hall of Fountain Valley, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Greg Stratton.
