Patricia A. Van Osdale, age 92 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Cedarhurst of Highland in Highland, IL.
She was born on Saturday, February 8, 1930, in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Roland and Alexandra (nee Davis) Patterson.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ Women’s Guild.
Ms. Van Osdale was born and reared in Belleville, IL. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1948. She was married, raised her son, and worked for a bank. She then worked for Civil Service at Scott Air Force Base, was transferred to Ramstein Air Base in Germany, and then to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. In 1993, she moved to Highland, and in 1995 she retired from Scott Air Force Base. She enjoyed reading and was very active in the church. She also enjoyed participating in activities at the Korte Rec Center, Highland, IL.
Survivors include: Son – Steven W. (Susan) Van Osdale, Eden Prairie, MN; Grandchild – Marisa (Husband Joseph Triplett) Van Osdale, Seattle, WA; Grandchild – Marc Van Osdale, Los Angeles, CA; Great Grandchild – Gael Triplett, Seattle, WA
She was preceded in death by Father – Roland F. Patterson; Mother – Alexandra L. (nee Davis) Patterson; Adopted Parents – John and Clara (nee Davis) Stehlick – (Patricia’s Aunt and Uncle).
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Private Interment Service will be held at Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
