Mary Elizabeth Adams, nee Campbell, 72, of Freeburg, IL, born September 3, 1951, in Belleville, IL, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Mary was surrounded by her loving family as she passed on peacefully.
Mary loved laughing. Whether she was spending time with her family, reading a comic, or watching a funny movie, she loved to laugh. She was very involved with her grandchildren’s lives and was always there for her boys when they needed her. Her laughter will be greatly missed. Mary enjoyed many years playing video poker and slot machines at the Casino Queen with her husband, T.J. Adams. She also loved Pomeranians and had many of them as pets over the years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 21 years, T.J. Adams, who died in 2011; her
parents, Thomas William and Dora Mae, nee Belleville, Campbell; a daughter-in-law, Laura Przybysz; a nephew, Steven Kehrer; and a niece, Patricia Blasingame.
Surviving are her five children, Scott (Candice) Przybysz, Nicholas Przybysz, Michelle Adams, Lisa (Adam) Wilson, and Erin (Matt) Borner; two sisters, Tobia Cox and Nancy (Butch) Kehrer; 13 grandchildren, Shaun, Meghan; Chris (Rarick), Collin (Rarick), Nicholas Jr., Angel, Michael, Jake; Nora, Evie, and Lydia (Wilson); and Natalie and Lila (Borner); three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved Pomeranian, Patches.
