Patricia Ann French, 89, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 10:26 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Warrenton, Missouri. She was born March 18, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late John Sherman and Sadie Mae (Harrington) Millsap. She married John O. French Jr. on March 1, 1958 in Madison, Illinois and he passed away on November 15, 1972. She was a longtime member of Clark Avenue Church of Christ in Granite City and a true fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed her days of crocheting and sewing and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Andy Miofsky of Glen Carbon and Jennifer and Larry Hale of Warrenton, Missouri; four grandchildren Emily (Markanthony) Martinez, Nicholas Miofsky, William Hale and Thomas Hale; a great grandson, Carson Miofsky; a sister, Judith S. Millsap of Granite City; other extended family and friends. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Marie French and three brothers, Donald G. Millsap, Richard D. Millsap and Danny C. Millsap.
In celebration of her life, a visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Glen Carbon City Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Illinois.
