Mary T. Greco, 95, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois at 2:37 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born June 6, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Frank and Lenore (Zollizi) Lucido. She married Anthony J. Greco on September 8, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri and he passed away on May 3, 2001. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City and member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed her days of bowling, camping, playing bingo and trips to the casino.
She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Gene Copper of Mitchell, Terry and Tim Loyet of Mitchell and Pat and John Moore of Mitchell; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Debbie Greco of Edwardsville; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Don Ernst of St. Charles, Missouri; other extended family and friends. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christy and a sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Roy Stuart.
In celebration of her life, a public drive through visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. A private family graveside service will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville.
