Dee Dee Wood 60, of Granite City, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home.
Dee Dee was born on October 23, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL; the daughter of the late Clinton David and Alberta Marie (Graves) Wood Mocicki. Dee Dee was a homemaker, mom and grandmother who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed her days of taking care of her family. Dee Dee will be remembered for all the special times she shared with her family and friends.
Dee Dee is survived by and will be missed by her children; Lisa and Tony Schoeber of Granite City, Melanie R. Wood of Granite City, Anna M. Wood of Granite City, Zachary D. and Jessica Wood of Granite City, Angelica M. Wood of Granite City, Estrella M. Wood of Granite City; grandchildren, Devin, Irene, Enrique, Leticia, Vaneza, Alejandro, Emiliano, Juliana, Jaxen, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Javonni, Giselle; sister, Alberta Sutton; brothers, Lewis and Carol Wood, Billy and Terry Wood, Steven Moscicki and many other close family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dee Dee was preceded in death by her brothers; Joseph and Michael Moscicki.
In celebration of Dee Dee’s life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Family Church, 97 Oaklawn Road in Glen Carbon with Pastor Sandy Schoeber officiating. Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City is serving the family.
