Diane F. (Mangiaracino) Andrews, 69, of Collinsville and formerly of Venice, Illinois passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville with her son holding her hand. She was born September 24, 1950, in Granite City, a daughter of the late Benny and Lillian (Bass) Mangiaracino. She married David L. Andrews on June 27, 2003, in Edwardsville and he survives. She had worked for many years as a hostess at the 76 Restaurant in Troy, Illinois. She retired from the Belleville Shoe Company after many years of dedicated service. Diane was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City and was a member of the Venice Social Club and served on the Venice History Committee. She enjoyed her days of gardening, had a love for animals, cherished her granddaughter, and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by a son, Jeremy Brann of Granite City; a granddaughter, Savannah Brann; a sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Joe Kostecki of Madison; several nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie and Dale Mangiaracino, and a sister, Denise Foley.
In celebration of her life, a private visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel in Granite City on Sunday, July 5, 2020, and a public funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jeff Holtmann as celebrant.
