Valerie A. Anderson, 67, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tues. Mar. 17, 2020 at Gateway Regional Medical Center ER in Granite City.
She was born Oct. 7, 1952 in Granite City to the late William A. Bone and Elaine J. (Rapsis) Estes.
On Feb. 27, 1970, she and Gary Anderson were married in Collinsville, IL. He survives in Granite City.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Sonja Elizabeth (Darrin Filla) Anderson of Valley Park, MO; a son: Christopher William (Stacey) Anderson of Cameron, MO; 5 grandchildren: Christopher James Anderson, Austin James Anderson, Kylie Elaine Anderson, Benjamin Roger Smithson and Cody William Anderson; a brother: William A. (Sondra) Bone II of Granite City; and 2 sisters: April Elaine (Gordon Pierson) Bone of Granite City and Shelby (Randall) Hearne of Holts Summit, MO.
