Ruth Ann Keeton, 59 of Granite City passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Edwardsville Care Center.
Ruth was born on June 29, 1960 in East St. Louis, Illinois; the daughter of the late James and Luena (Hill) Keeton. Ruth was a 1979 graduate of Granite City High School and had attended Belleville Area College from January 1980 thru July 1980. Ruth was a loyal and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church in Granite City and did piece work for Specialized Services in Granite City. Ruth will be remembered for the loves she had for her family and all the special times they shared together.
Ruth is survived by and will be missed by her sister; Luena Chester of Granite City, IL, Loretta Lillard of Alba, MO; niece, Melody Chester of Sedalia, MO; nephew, Paul Wayne Chester of St. Louis, MO.
In celebration of Ruth’s life, services will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Cemetery, 2550 Maryville Road in Granite City with Pastor David Brimm officiating. Memorial donations are suggested to Bethel Chapel, 2445 Ohio Ave., Granite City, IL 62040. Irwin Chapel in Granite City is serving the family
