Sharon J. Lansaw, 76 of Granite City, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Gateway Regional Medical Center.
Sharon was born on January 12, 1943 in St. Louis; the daughter of the late Wentford G. and Myrtle (Provance) Hicks. Sharon was a department supervisor at Welsh Baby Carriage Company in St. Louis and in her free time, Sharon enjoyed her days of spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her loving heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by and will be missed by her son; Gino Hicks of St. Louis; grandchildren, Melanie (Ryan) Oehler, Kellie (Tiffani) Williams; great-grandchildren, Sydney Oehler, Connor Oehler; sister, Connie Nix; brother, James G. Hicks and many other close family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; James R. Lansaw Sr., whom she married on November 27, 1981.
In celebration of Sharon’s life, visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Patricia Adams officiating at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City.
