Tami L. Horstmann, age 64 of Highland, IL, died Friday, August 2, 2024, at her home, Highland, IL.
She was born on Wednesday, June 1, 1960, in Highland, IL, the daughter of William and Maurine (nee Oestringer) Voegele.
On Friday, May 3, 1985, she married Curtis G. Horstmann at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL, who survives.
She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church.
Tamie was born in Highland, IL. She grew up in Highland and graduated from Highland High School in 1978. She was a very active member of the Art Club at high school. She had worked at Trionics and Devtron in Highland, IL and spent 10 years as an artist. Her favorite artists were Van Gogh and Monet. She worked primarily with charcoal and colored pencils. She was a Green Bay Packers fan extraordinaire with a brick at Lambeau Field. She attended rock concerts and her favorite rock group was Kansas, she drew all their albums and musicians. She enjoyed reading, especially murder mystery novels, collecting snow globes and flower gardening. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
