Reverend Tony J. Rodgers, 63, of Madison, IL, passed away Sun. Mar. 17, 2024 at his home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1961, in Armorel, AR to the late Sam & Josephine (Conley) Rodgers Jr.
Tony had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Clark Industries in St. Louis, MO and was a pastor of Israelite Spiritual Temple in East St. Louis.
He and Dorothy Lee Flora were married Apr. 15, 2011, in Madison and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Amber Cathers; a son: Antwane Givens Sr.; grandchildren: Lucas Alexander Radford, Trinity Kathleen Campbell, Khadijah Sykes, Antwane Givens Jr., Orianna Givens, Sashay Givens and Lavondia Givens; great-grandson: Brandon; a brother: John Earl Rodgers; and a sister: Rosa Wofford.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: James, Arthur, Eddie, C.F., and David Rodgers; and sisters: Lena Williams and Gloria Shurn.
