Joseph Judd

Joseph Thomas Judd, Sr, 72, of Granite City, IL passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Joe was born to the late Walter and Concettina (Demarco) Judd on June 4, 1952 in Madison, IL. Joe worked as a steel worker and retired from American Steel after 34 years. Joe spent his time fishing, watching wrestling with his baby brother Pat, and playing the lottery; but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. He was a loveable man who never met a stranger. He told it like it is! His ultimate wish was for his family and friends to stay safe and sound. He was super proud of his toy poodle, Half Pint, she was treated like the “Queen Bitch” she was. Any moment he could talk to his grandkids, kids, or Shirley he would have the biggest shit eating grin on his face! Although, when he was watching wrestling, you had to be quiet because you could hear it next door – and he wouldn’t let you forget to pick up a lottery ticket for him while you were out.

Joe is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth (Dustin) Tinnon; son: Joseph Judd, Jr; three grandchildren: Damon Tubbs, Kierstein Tubbs and Schylar (Skyfi) Tubbs; 12 great grandchildren; His former wife and friend; Shirley Judd; two brothers, two sisters and many nephews and nieces.
