Stefan Culver

Stefan P. Culver, 62, of Belleville, IL, born November 5, 1961, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, died Sunday, September 15, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family.

Stefan was a United States Air Force veteran. He served his country honorably for four years. He received his associates degree and later worked as a communications technician at Verizon Wireless for 25 years. Stefan was an avid St. Louis Rams football fan and German soccer fan. He enjoyed traveling, tailgating, barbequing, and camping. Stefan enjoyed hanging out with his friends, fixing things, and taking care of his yard. Above most all, Stefan was a devoted husband and father, who loved teaching his son the game of baseball and watching his daughter play soccer.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Randal B. Culver; father, Lothar Baltes; his grandmother, Käthe Neumann; and a nephew, Danny Wescoat.

Surviving are his wife, Angela Culver, nee Klohr; two children, Kaylin Culver and Braeden Culver; his mother, Karin, nee Kropf, Culver; two siblings, Tammy Marie (Pete) Talamonti and Randy T. (Candace) Culver; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Klohr; five siblings-in-law, Patricia (Dennis) Ohlendorf, Sharon (Chuck) Wescoat, Joe Klohr, Anna (Dave) Smith, and John (Jennifer) Klohr; 12 nieces and nephews, Sara (Dominic) Cianciarulo, Walker Culver, Sarah (Brian) Foster, Amy (Matt) Jany, Allison (Nick) Klucker, Andy Wescoat, Lauren (Nathan) Hidalgo, Jeremy (Betty) Smith, Morgan Smith, Natalie Klohr, Alex Klohr, and Mitchell Klohr; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
