Billie Mae Louthan, nee Fogle, 78, of Freeburg, IL, born May 15, 1946, in Herrin, IL, died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at St. Paul’s Senior Community, Belleville, IL.
Billie had worked as an office manager and retired from the Village of Freeburg. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Freeburg, IL. Billie was very active in many groups at St. Paul’s UCC and other organizations and committees in Freeburg, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary, nee Hiscox, Fogle; two sisters, Alice Black and Dorothy Lewis; and a brother, David Fogle.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Hopfinger and Alison (Brad) Buettner; seven grandchildren, Lucas Hopfinger, Kaitlyn Buettner, Payton Pierce, Wyatt Hopfinger, Blake Buettner, Jordyn Keller, and Emelia Hopfinger; a brother-in-law, Donald Black; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024, St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Freeburg, IL, with Rev. Andrew Lovins officiating.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Freeburg, IL.
