Diana M. Sale, age 73 of Collinsville, IL, died Friday, September 27, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
She was born on Tuesday, December 12, 1950, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Maurice and Genevieve (nee Fricker) Plog.
Diana was born in Highland, IL and attended St. Paul High School in Highland, IL and graduated in 1958. She attended college and then started working for Williams-Pendent-Crashed Corp. in St. Louis, MO. She worked until 2017 as Office Manager/Comptroller with the company. Diana enjoyed archery; loved to spend time in the Ozarks and loved animals. She and Ralph liked to cook and try new recipes. Their kitchen was as nice as any restaurant. Her hobbies and pastimes were spent doing her Needlepoint handiwork, collecting Hummel figurines, going antiquing and sorting through her coin and stamp collections.

- Great Nephew – Jackson Wiess
- Great Niece – Jensen Wiess.
She was preceded in death by:
- Father – Maurice J. Plog – Died 3/13/1991
- Mother – Genevieve C. Plog, nee Fricker – Died 9/01/2011.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Diana’s wishes were to have no services.
