Lorraine A. Olliges, nee Behrns, 95, of Belleville, IL, born January 3, 1929, in Fayetteville, IL, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL, with family by her side.
Lorraine retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Henry John Olliges, whom she married September 14, 1949, and who died November 17, 2017; her parents, Joseph and Carrie, nee Huelsman, Behrns; two brothers, Jerome “Jim” (Clara) Behrns and Ralph Behrns; and a son-in-law, Tony Ferrara.
Surviving are her three daughters, Karen Ferrara, Linda (Tom) Chastain, and Diane (Michael) Lanterman; five grandchildren, Chris Ferrara, Beth (Curt) Regensberger, Becky (Del) Alexander, Brian (Cindy) Chastain, and Michele Myers; six great-grandchildren, Colton and Noah Ferrara, Jay Regensberger, Brianna Chastain, and Rylie and Robert Myers; two sisters-in-law, Delores Hopper and Helen Quirin; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
