William ‘Bill’ J. Lamb, 74, passed away at 10:58 am on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO.
He was born on July 11, 1944 in Harrisburg, IL the son of William L. and Lelia B. (Brantley) Lamb.
Bill married Toni A. Joyner on March 28, 1969 in Harrisburg. She survives.
Bill was an employee for Manufacturers Railway Service, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch for 41 years. He was a member of the Bethalto Church of God. Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife and family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Daryl) Meyenburg of Edwardsville; two granddaughters, Kynsley and Kaytelyn Meyenburg, and one grand dog, Duke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lelia Ann Austin.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Bethalto Church of God.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the church with Ginger Robinson and Doug Bowers, Sr. officiating.
Burial will be held at 1:30 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
