Shirley Catherleen Myers Wyant Duvall went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 7, 2025, at Mercy Rehab and Health Care Center, Swansea, Illinois. She was born June 14, 1935, in Knox County, Indiana to Theadore Webster and Mary Alice Myers.
Shirley was a beautician at Hill’s Department store in Vincennes, Indiana during her younger years. She also worked at GE in Bloomington, Indiana and Delta Faucet in Greensburg, Indiana until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of Sterling Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
She was married April 3, 1955 to Dale Eugene Wyant who preceded her in death December 26, 1999. She married Robert Neal Duvall in 1967, and he preceded her in death July 12, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Elmer Theadore Myers, sister-in-law Merrydyth Myers, niece Peggy Deckard, and nephews Darren Fleming, Greg Myers, and Craig Dawson.
Shirley is survived by her son, Dale A. (Terenda) Wyant of Belleville, IL; her granddaughter, Dr. Erin E. (Josh) Laurion of Fairview Heights, IL; three great grandchildren, Alice, Esme, and Atlas Theodore; and her brother, Donald George Myers of Monroe City, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends Pat Milburn and Pam Cook of Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Interment will be on February 13, 2025, at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Petersburg, Indiana.
