Robert J. Newell, age 92, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on July 18, 1932, in Belle Plaine, MN, died on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his residence.
Robert and Sue Newell opened Kwik Kopy Printing in 1978 and served their community proudly. Robert was the past President and Paul Harris Fellow of the Fairview Heights Rotary Club. He enjoyed golfing and vacationing in Destin FL for many years. Bob always put his family, faith and community first in all situations.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Colleen Rae Newell, nee Conrath; his second wife, Sue Newell, nee Haney; his parents, John and Elizabeth Newell; his brothers, USAF Lt. Col. John F. Newell, Jr., Thomas Newell and E. Michael Newell.
Robert is survived by his children, Lisa (James) Linnemeier of Belleville, IL, and Pete (Lisa Marie) Newell of Belleville, IL; his grandchildren, Eric Linnemeier, Nicholas Linnemeier and Phillip Linnemeier; Adison Newell and Emily Newell; his great grandchildren, Layla Linnemeier and Jack Linnemeier.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL. A private family burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
