Michael J. Dahmm, 43, of Troy and formerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away at his home at 11:33 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
He was born October 4, 1981, in Alton, Illinois, the son of Danny J. and Cynthia J. (Zeller) Dahmm of Granite City.
He married Kathryn S. “Katie” (Pitchers) Dahmm on September 17, 2016, in Granite City and she survives.
Michael worked at Wells Fargo Advisors with 13 years of service. He loved hockey and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Blues. He loved talking hockey with friends and followers on his “The Mostly Hockey Podcast”. He enjoyed video gaming and also had a love for music and enjoyed his days of playing the guitar and singing. Michael will be remembered for the love and special times he shared with his family and many friends.
In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he is survived by his cherished children, Jackson R. Dahmm and Allyson M. Dahmm; sister, Cheryl Wright of Troy; sister-in-law, Stacie Eades of St. Charles, Missouri; grandmother-in-law, Linda Pitchers of Pontoon Beach; nieces and nephews, Grant Wright, Alex Wright, Courtney Avers, Patrick Hartmann and Samantha Hartmann; many cousins; other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVetta and Robert Morris, Theodore Zeller and Geraldine “Betty” and Carl Dahmm and grandfather-in-law, Robert Pitchers.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Danny Pitchers officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
