Theresa Sharon Keller, 67, of Freeburg, IL, born March 21, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
Theresa worked as a school bus driver for Freeburg Grade School District #70 for 22 years.
She also dedicated many years to volunteering as an EMT in Freeburg and worked as an animal caretaker for Freeburg Animal Hospital. Theresa was a loving mother and her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She loved to read and often got books from the library, she liked music, especially Elvis, because of her sisters, and you could always find Theresa with a can of Pepsi in her hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carl and Catherine, nee Raycraft, Keller; her twin brother in infancy; a brother, James Keller; a sister, Christine Patton; her grandparents; an uncle, Dennis Raycraft; and father and mother-in-law, Marie and Kelly Wilderman.Surviving are her wonderful son, Jim (Anna) Wilderman;
two grandchildren, Ella and Jaden Wilderman;
a sister, Joan Madonia;
Jim’s father, Tim Wilderman;
three nephews, Michael Madonia, David Patton, and Tim Patton;
a great-niece, Isabella Rose Schubert;
three cousins, Janet Osborne, Jim Reardon, and Ellen Reardon;
her close friend, Debbie Schwartz;
and very special nieces and nephews on the Wilderman side.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, especially Anne and Meggi. They would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Todd Vonderheide for taking such good care of Thersea all those years.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Freeburg, IL, with Deacon James Law officiating.
According to Theresa’s wishes cremation services will follow.
