Rosann N. Lehman, nee Nadler, 93, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, July 23, 1931, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at her residence in Belleville, IL.
Rosann graduated from St. Teresa Academy, East St. Louis, IL in 1949. She then was employed for 15 years as a Service Representative with U.S. Steel Corporation, St. Louis, MO. She retired from Scientific Atlanta, Belleville, IL in 1992.
She enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the United States with her family. Rosann was a Charter Member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, IL. She participated in the Prayer Chain in her later years.
Rosann felt, the love and devotion she gave her husband and children, she could give to no other. But life had a lovely surprise for her. She became Paige’s grandmother.
Faithfully, every month Rosann was looking at the full moon as she was seeing “Turk”.
Rosann was preceded in death by her:
- Husband, John “Turk” Lehman Sr., whom she married October 1, 1955, and who died January 27, 2001
- Parents, Alex J. and Rose, nee Schutzenhofer, Nadler
- Brother-in-law, Robert V. Strano
She is survived by her:
- Daughter, Lauri (Steve) Pierson of Edwardsville, IL
- Son, John J. Lehman Jr. M.D. of Belleville, IL
- Her much loved granddaughter, Paige Lehman Pierson of Edwardsville, IL
- Brother, Alex K. (Marcia) Nadler of Swansea, IL
- Two sisters:
- Marilou (Jerry) Blum
- Dede Strano of Swansea, IL
- Many nieces, nephews, and friends
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church or to Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Belleville, IL.
Visitation: Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 5923 N. Belt West, Belleville, IL 62223.
Services: Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, IL, with Msgr. Jack McEvily officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
