Kayla Lynn Bierschwal, 31, of Granite City, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 17th, 2025, in Granite City, IL. She was born on July 13th, 1993, in St. Louis, MO.
Kayla loved and was loved by many. She absolutely adored her family, and had many friends. She will be greatly missed.
Survived by her 3 children, Daughter, Lillian Green, Sons, Christopher Green and Kaiden Shiadek, Spouse, Darren Green. Father, Bradley (Crystal) Bierschwal, Mother Amy (Billy) Bronaugh, Paternal Great Grandmother, Virginia (Ginger) Howland. Paternal Grandparents, Sharon (Dennis) (Howland) Hall, Rome John Bierschwal. Maternal Grandparents, John and Linda Eckmann. Siblings are Jordan, Jared, and Sofia Bronaugh of Granite City, Gavin and Grayson Slusher of Granite City, Mykayla and Jazmyn Smith of Alton. Uncles Ty Beirschwal and Matthew Eckmann of Granite City. Extended family of many cousins and close friends all of Granite City.
She was preceded in death by her Aunt Kim (Birschwal) Gancheff, and a paternal great grandfather, John E. Howland. Maternal Grandparents, Lou and Norma Crook, John and Berniece Eckmann.
The family will hold a Memorial Service in honor of Kayla, Saturday, May 31st at 1:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Fellowship in Pontoon Beach, IL.
