Wayne E. Lambird Jr., 59, of New Baden, IL, born August 31, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL and passed away at his home on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Wayne was the Produce Manger at New Baden Market, New Baden, IL He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those needing help. He enjoyed a quiet day on the water’s edge and a fishing pole in hand.
I pray that I may live to fish Until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray: When in the Lord’s great landing net and peacefully asleep That in His mercy I be judged Big enough to keep. – Unknown
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith “Edie” (nee Hornal) Lambird.
Surviving is his children, Wayne (Charlton “Charlie”) Lambird III of Arnold, MO and Sarah (Matt) Conrad of Pargould, AR; his grandchildren, Cash and Ryker Lambird and Colton and Dayton Conrad; his father Wayne E. Lambird Sr. of St. Jacob, IL; cousins and many friends.
