“Paddy played really well for us this past season,” Coach Erwin said.

Paddy hit .315 and had 28 hits, 20 RBIs and five doubles for the varsity team. He wore No. 2 for the Griffins this past spring.

Paddy is a Byron, Carlson, Petri & Kalb Male Athlete of the Month.

“He was a sophomore, and he did a fantastic job,” Erwin said. “He also did a great job defensively in the outfield, which is nice.”

Erwin said he expects Martin to continue developing.

“I do expect big things from him in the future,” Erwin said. “I expect him to grow and get better. I think he could be a good college player. I am also happy with what he means to our team culture and atmosphere.”
