Paula J. O’Mara, age 82, of Collinsville, IL, born April 25, 1939 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Edwardsville Care Center East, Edwardsville, IL.
Paula was a retired accountant. She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, loved her grand-dogs and time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Carrie (nee Miller) Rayfield; her husband, Michael E. O’Mara; an infant daughter; a grandson, Billy DuHadway, and a brother, Jack Rayfield.
She is survived by four children: Denise (Jim) Lewis of Pontiac, MO, Dolores (Greg Eaves) Viviano of Collinsville, IL, Scott (Stacey) Robbins of Collinsville, IL, and Todd (Jennifer) Robbins of Fenton, MO; five grandchildren: Carrie (Cheryl) Viviano, Tommy Viviano, Tyler (Kristin) Robbins, Josh (Abby Wooley) DuHadway, and Sean Robbins; and five great-grandchildren: Peyton, Penelope, Brionna, Billy, and Mia.
A private graveside service will be held. Friends and family are invited to a public Celebration of Life service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Lyle’s Tavern, 6201 E. Main, Maryville, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Partners for Pets and will be accepted at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville IL 62062.
