Alton Fire Department Battle Structure Fire Saturday Night

ALTON – Alton Fire Department was dispatched to a doublewide trailer on fire in the 300 block of Aladdin Ave Saturday night.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they had heavy fire throughout the trailer. Firefighters did a search of the trailer to see if any occupants were inside, but all the occupants were not home during the fire. Alton Fire Department used the ladder truck to help spray water to get the fire under control.

Alton requested East Alton Fire Department to bring their ladder truck to the scene to help. While East Alton assisted with the fire Rosewood Heights moved to East Alton’s station.

The trailer sustained significant damage. No injuries were reported and its unknown at this time how the fire started.
