Father McGivney Advances Several To The Class 1A Girls State Finals On Saturday In Charleston

CHARLESTON -Father McGivney of Glen Carbon advances three individuals and two relay teams to the Class 1A State Girls Track Finals in Charleston on Saturday.

In the high jump Mia Range advances to the finals with a mark of 1.55 she finished fourth in the prelims. In the 800-meter race, Kaitlyn Hatley had a time of 2:20.63 to advance to Saturday, Last year Hatley medaled as a freshman in Charleston and is looking for the podium again on Saturday.

In the 1600-meter race freshman, Elena Rybak ran a 5:10.21 to advance with a second-place on Saturday. The 4×800 also advanced with a time of 9:54.67. The final race of the day was the 4×400 and Father McGivney was able to qualify with a time of 4:10.71 with that qualification Father Mcgivney advanced every one of their girls to the finals on Saturday.
