GRANITE CITY – Tim McChristian was hired as the new Principal at Granite City High School for the 2023-24 school year.

Mr. McChristian has worked in education since 1992, and currently is in his fourth year as Principal at Du Quoin High School. Prior to his time at Du Quoin, he served as Assistant Principal at Dupo Jr./Sr. High School for 12 years.

McChristian spent the first 15 years of his career in the classroom. He taught and coached at Breese Mater Dei Catholic High School for two years prior to a 13-year stint as teacher, social studies department chair, and coach at Collinsville High School.
