Morning hours will start with some sun but clouds will gradually increase through the afternoon. By evening, skies will become overcast, and snow will begin late at night, making travel conditions tricky as accumulation builds. Overnight, expect continued snow into early Saturday.
Saturday looks windy and cold with a wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain. High will reach 38 with a low of 24. Winds pick up to 17 mph with gusts near 30 mph from the south-southeast. Snow accumulation on Saturday could add 1 to 3 inches, with a storm total reaching 3 to 6 inches and roads likely slick. Rain is also expected to mix in as the day progresses, especially in the afternoon.
By Sunday, the storm moves out leaving very cold conditions behind. Highs will top out near 29 with lows dipping to 16. Winds will be breezy from the northwest at 14 mph, making it feel even colder. Clouds will linger through most of Sunday with a slight chance of a light snow coating.
