
GRANITE CITY – Granite City police have charged two local residents with burglary of a vehicle and Granite City home.
Angela R. Brown, 40, of East St. Louis, was charged on Dec. 18, 2025 with one count each of burglary (a Class 3 felony) and theft (a Class A misdemeanor).
Brown allegedly knowingly entered another individual’s 2011 Ford F-250 without authority on Nov. 19, 2025 with the intent to commit a theft. On the same day, she reportedly stole a tan purse containing a wallet, a key to the burglarized vehicle, and keys to multiple other vehicles, including a 2009 Ford F-350, a Dodge Ram, and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
In a separate case also filed on Dec. 18, 2025, Ronnie T. Williams, 18, of Granite City, was charged with a Class 1 felony count of residential burglary.
Williams reportedly knowingly and without authority entered a Granite City residence in the 3800 block of Nameoki Road on Nov. 24, 2025 with the intent to commit a theft.
The Granite City Police Department presented both of the cases against Brown and Williams. Brown was granted pretrial release from custody, while Williams was remanded to jail for his initial appearance in court.
All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
