Thomas Delbert McKibben, of Belleville, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was 76 years old.
Thomas was born June 30, 1949, in East St. Louis, IL, and graduated from East St. Louis High School. After graduation, he started his career at Fabick Caterpillar. He then went to work for Illinois American Water Company, retiring in 2010.
Tommy lived a great life, defined by hard work, generosity and deep friendships. He was an avid sports fan and collector of sports memorabilia. He was also well versed in history, especially during war time periods. He enjoyed his years of retirement, taking trips to mark off his bucket list, hosting dinners at his favorite restaurants, and spending time with his friends. He will be deeply missed by those friends.
