Santiago Enrique Langlois, 95, of Belleville, IL, born April 18, 1930, in Honduras, Central America, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his residence.
Mr. Langlois worked as a meter reader and an accountant in his younger years. He loved history, actors’ history, reading, and making his own scrap books. Santiago also enjoyed doing yard work and collecting rocks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Langlois and Anna Lazo; and three siblings, Rene, Haydee, and Nelly.
Surviving are two daughters, Nelly Langlois and Ivonne Langlois; a son, Douglas Langlois; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Virginia, Jenny, Douglas, Tyrone, Ashley, and Stefon; many dear great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jose Oscar, Mauricio; and two sisters, Gladys, and Virginia.
