ST. LOUIS COUNTY POLICE – St. Louis County Police have identified a man found dead Tuesday, July 14, 2026, on a ledge along a bluff near a shopping center in Fenton as 62-year-old Grant Reece of Union, Missouri.
Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department’s City of Fenton Precinct responded at 11:31 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, to a welfare check in the 600 block of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard, according to St. Louis County police. When officers arrived, they found the body of an adult male on a ledge along the bluff.
Police on Wednesday identified the man as Reece, who lived in the 1000 block of Westmoreland Boulevard in Union, Missouri, 63048.
Based on the preliminary investigation, Reece’s death does not appear to be suspicious and foul play is not suspected, police said. The cause of death will be determined later following an autopsy.
Police said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
