LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced that SIUE volleyball is one of 1,432 programs honored with a 2026 Team Academic Award. To be honored, teams must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).
The Cougars earned a combined 3.672 GPA during the 2025-26 school year.
SIUE is one of six OVC teams to earn the honor for the 2025-26 academic year. This is the 12th time the Cougars have been honored with the award.
