Amy Wallace

Amy June Wallace, 47, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital. 

Born March 20, 1976 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Donald Wallace of Godfrey and the late Tina (Cole) Wallace. 

Surviving are her father; daughter, Raeleigh June Forester of Fairview Heights; brother, David James Wallace of Alton; and fiance’, David Widger of Troy.

She had been employed as a server at the Pasta House Restaurant in Edwardsville where she was a customer favorite.

Amy was truly one of a kind. In life, she was a beautiful, resilient, hilarious, and fierce woman who loved, and was loved, deeply. Those that knew her well, knew that she was also one hell of a fighter and when anyone else would have broke, Amy would have stayed strong. As a mother, daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend, her absence leaves a profound void filled with echoes of her laughter and cherished memories. Amy will be missed terribly by those who experienced her depth of love. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be heldfrom 4-8 pm, Monday, January 8at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
