Van Runs Off Roadway And Lands In Regions Bank Parking Lot In East Alton

EAST ALTON – A van ran off the roadway on West Main in East Alton and nearly missing the Regions Bank causing damage to the vehicle, just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.

East Alton Fire Department responded to the scene because the initial call came out as a vehicle in the building and on fire, which was not the case. East Alton Police Department is investigating the accident.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured. No other information at this time.
