Benefit Being Held For Granite City Lady Who Lost Everything In Fire

GRANITE CITY – Granite City Fire Department responded to the 2700 block of Dale on June 8th for two houses that were on fire. When firefighters arrived both houses had fire.

Now six days later Teri’s Route 66 Diner and other community members are rallying behind Barbara Davis who lost everything during the fire. Davis lived in the house since she was 10 years old. Her dog Sarge survived the fire without any injuries.

Now Teri Bonvicino who is the owner of Teri’s Route 66 Diner and Barb’s sister in-law is having a benefit tomorrow to raise money. Teri’s Route 66 Diner will donate 25% of all sales will be donated to Barb. During Thursdays fundraiser a silent auction and raffles.

Shelby Mueller who is Barbs granddaughter has also set up a GoFundMe to help raise money. It has collected 465 dollars since it started.

The diner is located at 3121 West Chain of Rocks Road in Granite City.
