Wood River Fire Department Handles Motorcycle Crash Tuesday Night

WOOD RIVER – Wood River Fire Department responded to a traffic crash Tuesday night involving a car and motorcycle on Illinois Route 143 and Carroll Wood Drive.

Wood River police officers closed Route 143 going towards Edwardsville while first responders handled the scene. Alton Memorial Ambulance Service transported one person to an area hospital but it is unknown at this time the extent of the injuries.
