Kathleen M. Spilka, nee Buesch, 83, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, November 5, 1940, in Saint Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Keystone Place, O Fallon, IL.
Kathleen worked as a High School Teacher for Mascoutah District 19. She graduated from Belleville Township High School and Washington University in St. Louis. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville IL, Past President of Junior Service Club, PEO Chapter HR, and a Federated Garden Club of America Flower Show Judge.
She was preceded in death by her:

- Parents: Arthur Jr. and Ruth Helen, nee Hettenhausen, Buesch
- Step-daughter: Carey Lynn Spilka

Funeral: Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2024 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
