Douglas A. Sanders, 66, of Swansea, IL, born Tuesday, March 24, 1959, in Offutt AFB, NE, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL.
Doug worked as a Program Manager for AT&T and was a member of First Baptist Church in O’Fallon, IL. Striving to provide for his family, not only materially, but as an example of what a devoted husband, father, and follower of Christ should be. He met challenges head on and didn’t complain about them, even his final challenge. Doug was a steadfast friend, always positive and encouraging, willing to help anyone, and he did what needed doing only because it needed to be done. Throughout his life, Doug was honest and faithful, an exemplary man of character. He was dearly loved in life and will be deeply missed.
