Joyce E. Jones, 70, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
Born October 6, 1955, in Granite City, a daughter of the late Ralph K. Martin Sr. and Ada Mae (Rhodes) Martin.
She married the love of her life, Thomas W. Jones on November 1, 1974, in Granite City and he survives.
Joyce enjoyed her days of gardening and cherished the special times shared with her grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. and Rebecca Jones of Granite City; four grandchildren, Logan, Gabriel, Dylan and Peyton; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Martin Jr. and Allison Martin of Alton; nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Jones.
In celebration of her life, a memorial gathering will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
