CAHOKIA HEIGHTS — Police are investigating a shooting early Friday morning, Dec. 26, 2025, at The VIP Club, a nightclub located on the 4700 block of Bond Avenue in Cahokia Heights.
Law enforcement agencies from Cahokia Heights, Fairmont City, Sauget, and the Illinois State Police responded to the incident.

The Illinois State Police Forensic Services is assisting with the investigation, according to a statement released Friday, Dec. 26, 2025.
At least one person may have been shot inside the nightclub.
The extent of the injuries and whether any suspects have been apprehended remain unclear.
