“Tonight I’m incredibly grateful to the voters across our district who placed their trust in me, and to the many supporters and volunteers who helped power this campaign. From knocking on doors and making phone calls to hosting conversations in living rooms and coffee shops, this has truly been a community effort from the beginning.

“Over the past several months, I’ve had the chance to meet people across the district and hear directly about the challenges families are facing and the opportunities they want to see for their communities. Those conversations are what shaped this campaign, and they will continue to guide the work ahead.

“Primaries are part of the process, but now it’s time to come together and focus on the future of our district. Our communities deserve leadership that listens, works hard and delivers clear results.

“Now we must turn our attention to November. This district has a real opportunity to elect a State Senator who will work to lower costs, fight for good-paying union jobs, invest in infrastructure and approach the challenges facing our communities as a proven problem solver who isn’t afraid to think creatively and get things done.”

“I’m ready to keep traveling across the district, meeting with voters and continuing the conversations that have shaped this campaign. Together, we can build a stronger future for the Metro East, and I’m excited to keep the momentum going all the way to November.”
